About Us
A ministry of healing rooted in the Anglican Diocese of Kwoi.

Our Story
Born of Faith, Built for Service
St. John's Medical Centre stands in Samban-Gida, Jaba LGA, Kaduna State — near Kwoi — as a ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Kwoi, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). It was built to bring dependable medical care closer to home for the families of the surrounding communities.
The Centre offers outpatient services, surgery, maternity, children's care, a laboratory, pharmacy and imaging — delivered with the warmth and dignity that define our calling, close to the people who need it most.
It was dedicated by The Rt. Rev'd Paul S. Zamani on 30 May 2026, opening a new chapter of service to the community.

The Rt. Rev'd Paul S. Zamani
Proprietor & Pioneer Bishop, Diocese of Kwoi
The Rt. Rev'd Paul S. Zamani is the pioneer Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kwoi. Born in 1964 in Zango Kataf, Kaduna State, he trained in theology at St. Francis of Assisi Theological College, Wusasa, and the Theological College of Northern Nigeria, Jos, and once served as Chaplain to the Primate of the Church of Nigeria.
Under his leadership the Diocese has planted churches and founded schools and other institutions across its communities. St. John's Medical Centre is among the landmark works of his episcopate.
“St. John's Medical Centre is more than just a health centre. It represents our dedication to the well-being and prosperity of our community.”— The Rt. Rev'd Paul S. Zamani, at the dedication, 30 May 2026
